Operators is an event that brings together electronic musicians who work outside the structures of what so much electronic music has become. Not so much an ‘experimental music show’ as an experiment in itself.
The first installment, set in the basement of a former porn theater in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district, I produced, programmed and co-presented (with CounterPULSE) live performances by Tujurikkuja (Kit Clayton & Chris Dixon), Brandon Nickell, Its Own Infinite Flower and Business Etiquette.
